Living Stones Project
The Living Stones Project focuses on planting and developing churches in an area of southwest Asia where religious freedom is often challenged. Accordingly, specific names and details are not referenced.
For the last 10 years, we had the honor of serving alongside a very special individual. After retiring from his secular job, he felt the call to become a missionary. Without a plan, but with much faith and guidance from the Holy Spirit, this individual traveled to an unfamiliar place. By showing love to the local people, he has reached hundreds of people for the Gospel. Local churches and a thriving college student ministry have been established, along with a few local people becoming leaders and pastors. They have chosen to call their church and ministry – Living Stones.
This area is one of the most beautiful places to visit - yet there is much poverty and a lack of opportunity for the local people. Life is a constant challenge with marriages and families at risk. The lack of freedom to worship requires gathering in secrecy to avoid possible issues with the authorities. With such factors, this wonderful church needs additional assistance in order to continue serving this community for Christ.
